Reading Support Teaching Assistant

Supporting pupils from poorer backgrounds, schools are investing additional funding to deliver high impact pupil interventions through Teaching Personnel. Joy2Read is one of our intervention programmes which is designed improve reading skills by working with children in pairs. Each programme runs for two weeks, during which time you will provide support and practice reading with different pairs of children in 30 minute slots during the school day.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
