Salary £17,998 - £35,298 (dependant on experience and working hours)

After a recent local authority inspection, a larger than average Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced member of staff that will boost attainment in KS2 in Reading and Writing. The school are keen enthusiasts in utilising staff's creative side to help spark children's interest, when narrowing gaps in their learning. The school has a significant amount of SEN children on role; therefore this job will mean that you will support some SEN children and some higher achievers, with a focus on Year 6.

Currently on roll at the school are 460 pupils with a fairly even ratio of boys to girls. The school is in a diverse area with a high percentage of the pupils who speak English as an additional language. The successful member of staff would benefit from previous experience with EAL students. The school are looking to appoint an inspirational member of staff teacher who can make a substantial contribution in a high performing over-subscribed school. The role is to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
