RE Teacher required from January 2018 in Leyland

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of an 'Outstanding' secondary school in the Leyland area who are seeking a Teacher of RE on a part-time basis from January 2018.

The school in Leyland are seeking a Teacher of RE for 3 days a week due to a staff retirement within the department. The school is located close to junction 28 off the M6 with excellent on site parking facilities. It is also accessible via public transport links.

This Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' school caters for around 700 students and has nurtured a friendly learning environment based upon mutual respect. The school welcomes learners of all backgrounds and faiths, and the through caring community of parents, carers, governors and school staff, students are provided with the best opportunity to make outstanding progress.

The incoming RE Teacher MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE with QTS

- Recent experience of teaching KS3/4 RE up to GCSE level

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality RE lessons

- Commitment to a part-time RE teaching post from Jan 2018
