RE Teacher - Peterlee
Teacher of RE required for a minimum of one term in secondary school, located in Peterlee.
Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced RE teacher to cover a sickness with the Humanities department of our client school.
The school has specified that the role will be available for a term initially, with the potential of being extended further on the basis that the sick note is extended for the absent member of staff.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering RE up to KS5, preparing students for their mock exams in the first instance.
- Teaching RE across KS3-5
- Planning, preparing and marking resources, tracking students' progress
- Providing small group intervention sessions where necessary to ensure that students obtain a high standard across all their Humanities subjects
- Attending departmental meetings and CPD sessions to develop teaching practice
