R.E. Teacher Needed For A Secondary School in Sheffield Starting September 2020

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate R.E. Teacher to teach in an outstanding school in Sheffield for students from KS3 & KS4. The role is a full time role to start September 2020 for the full academic year.


The ideal R.E. Teacher will have an excellent track record of raising achievement in their own classes, someone who:

Can model excellence in the classroom and deliver excellent outcomes

Is able to evaluate and improve their impact and effectiveness

Has a passion for their subject and loves to keep up to date with the latest news

Has excellent relationships with students and a belief that everyone can succeed

Will be a great team player and work with other key colleagues to support the research, development, innovation and evaluation of teaching & learning across the school


Essential Requirements:

Teachers with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)

Teachers who hold a Current Enhanced DBS (or will be happy to apply for one)

Teachers with a minimum of 6 weeks recent teaching experience in the UK which can be referenced.

Teachers with the ability to work across all Key Stages and are able to demonstrate good behavioural management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
