We are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school located in the vibrant community of Dukinfield. Through the esteemed agency, Teaching Personnel, you'll step into a full-time role starting after Easter, with the potential for permanency based on performance.

The Role:

As an RE Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in guiding students through the exploration of different religious traditions, ethical dilemmas, and philosophical questions. Your responsibilities will include:

Curriculum Delivery: Designing and delivering inspiring RE lessons that cover a range of topics, including world religions, moral and ethical issues, and philosophical concepts. Critical Thinking: Encouraging students to think critically and analytically about religious and ethical issues, fostering open-mindedness and respectful dialogue. Cultural Awareness: Promoting understanding and appreciation of diverse religious beliefs and cultural practices, nurturing a sense of empathy and tolerance among students. Personal Development: Supporting students' spiritual and moral development, helping them to develop their own beliefs, values, and ethical principles. Assessment and Feedback: Assessing student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Extra-Curricular Engagement: Organizing and participating in extracurricular activities such as debating clubs, interfaith dialogues, and community service projects to enrich students' understanding of RE concepts. Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Specialism in Religious Education or a related field. Passion for RE teaching and a commitment to promoting tolerance and understanding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
