Job description

Job Title: Qualified Tutor

Location:  Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in the subject area
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop customised learning plans
  • Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding and academic performance
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching in the relevant subject area

Education:

Bachelor's degree in the subject area or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in tutoring or teaching

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
