Teachers Wanted! Short or Long-Term Cover in Stockport secondary schools
Teaching Personnel are looking for qualified teachers available for an exciting new opportunity in South Manchester. We’re working with secondary schools in the Stockport area, specifically in the Cheadle and Bramhall areas. This job is perfect for those qualified teachers seeking short-term or long-term cover, starting as soon as possible. Successful candidates will have experience working in secondary schools and have a PGCE or SCITT qualification.
About the Role:
- Full or part time teaching position – secondary school based (KS3 and KS4)
- Pay will be dependent upon experience and pay scale: MPS1 – UPS3
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Long-term roles may include additional responsibilities like planning and marking
- Work collaboratively with experienced departments
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Is adaptable, reliable, and confident with classroom management
- Available for immediate start (flexible durations)
- Applications are encouraged from ECTs or more experienced teachers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
