Job description

Teaching Personnel currently working on behalf of certain schools throughout Derby who are recruiting for Fully Qualified Teachers, with varied subject specialisms for the new academic year (September 2019).

We work with schools that cater for students with Special Educational Needs such as ASC, SEMH and PMLD.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • A Teacher with QTS with SEN experience
  • Experience working with pupils on the Autistic spectrum, including those who present with challenging behaviour
  • Confident to work on a 1:1 basis with students who may be very disengaged from education
  • Able to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that progress is tracked on a regular basis
  • Able to record progress through weekly feedback reports
  • Flexible to adapt their approach in order to meet the student's needs at all times
  • Patient and nurturing at all times
  • Someone who is able to boost self-esteem as well as help the student to make academic progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
