Position: Experienced English Teacher (Day-to-Day and Long-Term) - York

Role Overview:
As an English Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across York, catering to your availability and preferences. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess student understanding and progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide targeted support to students to enhance their literacy skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQTs are encouraged to apply).
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work 3 to 5 days per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
