Psychology Lecturer – Sixth Form / FE – Part Time

We are supporting a local Sixth Form College seeking a Psychology Lecturer to teach A-Level and/or Level 3 vocational programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-achieving institution with a record of exceptional student outcomes across post-16 study.

The college offers a structured curriculum, high standards of behaviour and a supportive environment for both staff and learners.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching of Psychology across assigned groups
• Plan lessons that promote critical thinking, analysis and real-world application
• Prepare students for external examinations and coursework assessment
• Track student performance, maintain accurate records and contribute to faculty review
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative learning culture

Details:

• 2–3 days per week
• January start
• 12-week initial contract with further opportunities available
• Paid at competitive FE lecturer scale rates

This post would suit experienced FE lecturers, secondary Psychology teachers seeking post-16 experience, or recent PGCE graduates looking to begin their teaching career in a strong sixth form environment.
