Psychology Graduates - Teaching Assistant
Job description

Our partner secondary schools located in the SR2 area of Sunderland is seeking Psychology Graduates for Teaching Assistant roles starting from September 2025.
This full-time role is ideal for graduates considering a future in educational psychology, mental health, SEN support, or teaching. You will play a vital role in assisting pupils with additional needs, providing both academic and emotional support across the school.
Ideal candidates:
- Hold a degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- Have a strong interest in child development, education, or mental health.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are proactive, empathetic, and reliable.
- Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs (preferred but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
