PSHE Required

We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher of PSHE to work in a specialist provision on the Dorset/Hampshire border for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. This unique Teacher position has arisen due to an increase in numbers of pupils and is the perfect opportunity for a passionate practitioner looking for a new challenge within a special school.

This PSHE Teacher position will involve planning and delivering engaging PSHE lessons to small groups of students with various SEN. You will need a caring and positive attitude with a flexible and creative approach, adapting activities to suit the specific needs and abilities of the pupils.

This specialist provision is sponsored by a Secondary School (graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted) and caters for children that are not able to attend mainstream settings.

You will require:

* QTS or equivalent qualification that allows you to teach in schools
* Excellent subject knowledge
* Experience working with young people with various additional needs
* A flexible approach and positive attitude
* Good communication skills to build and develop relationships with staff and students
