Primary tutors

Primary Teachers/Tutors required to work in Lancashire primary schools

Working with identified pupils on a 1:1 & small group basis

Focused learning to raise attainment in Literacy and Numeracy

Due to the recent school shutdown due to COVID-19, Teaching Personnel are promoting their tuition services which are intended to support pupils, schools & families across the UK. Teaching Personnel already have a bank of teachers/tutors who work on a flexible timetable basis during the week to deliver 1:1 tuition to primary aged pupils predominately in English & maths. A solid knowledge of the primary framework/curriculum is essential, but a commitment and passion for this specific style of learning is a must. Targeted pupils could range from lower ability pupils, Gifted & Talented pupils or LAC pupils. The schools that have approached Teaching Personnel have requested candidates who have worked within Lancashire primary schools and are familiar with the LCC scheme of work. The hours/days can be flexible – the majority of roles that we have at the moment are as follows:

5 mornings per week – Year 3/4

5 afternoons per week – Year 5/6

2 ½ days per week – KS1 support – Phonics & Year 2 SATS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
