Education Secretary calls for ex-teachers to return to classrooms
With COVID expected to cause much more staff absence levels this term, we have been instructed to recruit experienced former teachers ASAP. Our Primary schools are really struggling with sickness levels, which is having a significant impact on their staff well-being and the quality of teaching.
Areas we support: Saltash, Torpoint, Plymouth, Tavistock, Launceston and Callington
We have a very secure supply set up with our Primary schools. Allowing us to provide cover whilst keeping you safe, using our COVID Secure App.
As a former teacher, please help us support your local Primaries.
Teaching Personnel will be completing pre-employment checks to ensure you can be placed our schools.
Required to apply for this role:
- Relevant teaching qualification with QTS
- Able to use online systems to complete feedback
- x2 contactable references
- DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - this can be provided by Teaching Personnel if required
We are extremely busy right now supporting 57 primary schools in Plymouth alone. If you are looking for full time, part time, day to day or long term work we can support either way.
As we enter 2022, there is an unprecedented demand for supply teachers and teaching assistants across the country. To help us satisfy the thousands of staffing requests from our client schools, we need more people like you.
So, for January 2022, we are offering a VERY LARGE bonus when a teacher or teaching assistant you refer goes on to work for 20 days with us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
