Job Title: Primary Tutor (Oxford) Hourly Rate: £20-£25 per hour (based on qualifications and experience) Qualifications: QTS not essential

Are you passionate about helping young learners succeed in their academic journey? Do you have a talent for engaging and inspiring students to reach their full potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Primary Tutor in Oxford.

As a Primary Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing academic support and guidance to primary school students in various subjects. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to primary school students.
  • Creating personalized lesson plans and educational materials based on each student's individual needs and learning style.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Building a positive and nurturing learning environment to encourage student engagement and confidence.
  • Utilizing creative teaching methods and resources to make learning enjoyable and effective.
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing appropriate strategies.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
  • Demonstrated experience working with primary school-aged children, either through tutoring, teaching, or related roles.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is desirable but not essential. We also welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience or qualifications in education.
  • Adaptability and the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

This position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to choose your availability and the number of hours you wish to work each week. The hourly rate for this role ranges from £20 to £25, depending on your qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
