Primary Tutor (Thame)
£20–£30 per hour | Flexible Hours
Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking an experienced Primary Tutor based in Thame to join our supportive team, providing high-quality, personalised tuition to primary-aged pupils.
About the Role
As a Primary Tutor, you will:
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of primary-aged children.
- Assess, plan, and deliver tailored schemes of work to meet individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, EBSA, and SEMH.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or minimum 3 years’ tutoring experience with primary-aged children.
- Experience supporting children with diverse needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, EBSA, SEMH).
- Strong assessment and planning skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching style to suit individual learning profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
