This ‘Good’ Primary school in Manchester are recruiting for an ASC Support Teaching Assistant on a temporary contract due to a new pupil arriving into school.
The Headteacher is determined to ensure all pupils have the best possible education and attain the highest standard. This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with ASC, whether it’s on the verbal or non-verbal spectrum.
This is a great opportunity at a school which is aiming to become ‘Outstanding’. You would be working closely with the school SENCO to help aid learning in school as much as possible, this is a great place to work, with a friendly environment and a hard-working ethic!
The role:
- Boy with ASC – Challenging Behaviours, non-verbal, communication issues.
- Provide 1:1 support to engage the pupil
- Working closely with the SENCO and inclusion lead.
- Supporting learning in class and outside of the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
