Job title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Pay: Min £12.82 per hour

We are currently seeking talented and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools in Cardiff with day to day cover, as well as short and long term cover to suit your preferences.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers in the classroom
- Helping students with their learning and development
- Supporting children with additional learning needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working with a variety of different age groups in Primary (Nursery – Year 6)
The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to different schools, classes and environments, ideally have experience working with children or vulnerable adults, have great communication skills, be caring and nurturing and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
All successful candidates will have or be willing to apply for a child workforce DBS check, register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) and provide 24 months of references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
