Primary Teacher - Slough

Job description

I’m working with a School in Slough looking for a Primary Teachers to start ASAP or after October half term. Class sizes range from 6 – 12 pupils and each student has Special Educational Needs. The vacancy is to work with Autism, ADHD and associated learning, behaviour and speech language needs.  Each student will have a designated teaching assistant who will support behaviour management and all aspects of learning and development. The support staff will also be on hand to help gather and prepare resources ready for the day ahead. As the Teacher you will take a lead on the class and be responsible for planning, preparing and adapting lessons to each pupils needs.

The school are looking for a Teacher who holds a UK QTS and has some experience Teaching Autism either within a mainstream or special needs school. This will be a highly rewarding role as allows you as the Class Teacher to direct you time and attention to pupils and see first hand the progress made.

Although the role is due to start after October half term the Head Teacher is eager to show potential candidates around the school as soon as possible and give you the opportunity to ask questions about the role. This will allow you the opportunity to see the school first hand and decide if this meets your career aspirations.
