The Role;

We are currently recruiting for the role of a Primary school teacher (KS2) in the Manchester area for a school supporting children with profound, complex and challenging needs.
All children within the school have Education Health Care Plans therefore it is essential that candidates are organised and adaptable to meet the needs of the students, whilst being innovative, inspiring and practical.

Teachers will support up to 10 children in a class and are supported in class with Teaching assistants who will help multiple students with behaviour and learning, whilst the teacher is expected to deliver the curriculum and create an enjoyable and supportive learning environment.

The school are looking to employ a Primary teacher continue to deliver their holistic approach to learning whilst being able to cope with children on all levels of the spectrum. Candidates can expect students to have needs such as SLD, PMLD, ASC and may use communication methods such as Makaton/BSL/PECS.

Please be aware, all candidates MUST have QTS. We encourage Newly Qualified Teachers to apply as we can offer exceptional support in settling into your new role.

Requirements for this role are:

  • A knowledge of the Primary curriculum
  • Experience working within a specialist school
  • Experience with younger primary children
  • QTS
  • A child only enhanced DBS on the update service
