Contract Type: Full-Time Long-Term Role

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are looking for a passionate Reception Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. With a strong focus on early development and positive relationships, the school is committed to creating a classroom environment where every child can thrive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated primary teacher who enjoys working within the Early Years setting and wants to make a meaningful impact during children’s first experiences of education.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities for Reception pupils.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children’s development across the EYFS curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and curiosity.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within Early Years or Reception settings.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Is passionate about supporting young children’s development.
- Can create engaging and creative learning experiences.
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to pupil progress.

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
