Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant – Nursery School (B29)
Location: B29, Birmingham
Contract: Full-time

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established nursery school in the B29 area for an experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about early years education and confident working independently within a busy nursery environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will support children across the Early Years setting, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment. This role requires someone who can use their own initiative, confidently plan and set up meaningful activities, and contribute positively to the day-to-day running of the nursery.
There will also be occasions where you will be expected to step up and act as a Room Leader, so confidence in leading a team and maintaining high standards of practice is essential.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years (EYFS) qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Previous experience working within a UK nursery school or nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Confident using your own initiative without requiring constant direction.
- Experience planning, organising and delivering engaging activities, including Bucket Time and other communication, attention and language-based activities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
- Comfortable taking responsibility for a room and acting as Room Leader when required.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
