Primary Teacher

Summary:

  • Newly Qualified Teachers and Fully Qualified Teachers welcome

  • Full Time position, September 2020 start

The Role:

In this Primary Teacher role you will be expected to deliver fun and engaging lessons to create a positive learning environment to encourage learning inside and outside the classroom. The school would like you to embrace Donaldson’s four keys purpose that inspire children to be ambitious and capable learners, enterprising and creative contributors, ethical and informed citizens, healthy and confident individuals. You will be joining an enthusiastic and professional team who are dedicated to providing a rounded education. Your class will have a number of pupils with ALN so you will be expected to differentiate lessons plans in order to cater for those with ALN and challenging those of a higher ability.

The School:

This Primary School located in Blaenavon aims to provide the best from the beginning and help learn and achieve, laying the foundation for the future. The head teacher of this school wants to help the children become the best they can be, whilst making them feel happy, safe, valued and nurtured. In the schools latest inspection ESTYN graded the schools current performance as ‘Good’. Most pupils make progress in developing good skills in literacy, particularly in speaking, listening and reading. Also, ESTYN commented that many pupils with additional learning needs attain their targets and most pupils engage well with more demanding activities, such as problem-solving and research work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
