Are you an NQT looking to develop your knowledge and skills within the classroom? Have you got experience in teaching KS1 and KS2? Are you able to deliver pre planned lessons and plan your own lessons? Have you got a creative and enthusiastic side to help engage children?
If you have answered yes to all these questions this role maybe for you. This small school is based on the outskirts of Chorley. Within Chorley there are easy bus routes and a train station to enable teachers who use public transport to access the school. You will be expected to cover PPA from years 1-6, 3 full days a week. This means the hours you will be working are 8:45 – 3:15. The school is flexible on which days you chose to work however they would like to know in advance of starting.
As a teacher you will need experience working with KS1 and 2 and the curriculum and what it entails. The teacher will also need to have experience in working in a faith primary school. We will require your 2 most recent employers to provide a reference. The school prides itself on creating a safe and secure environment which is happy for the children but also staff. The member of staff they are looking for needs to be able to enable pupils to develop themselves personally, morally, and also spiritually. The children within the school have good behavior and the high standards of behavior are carried throughout all areas within the school.
For a PPA Teacher the rate will be GBP90-GBP130 depending on experience. The Head Teacher is wanting to appoint someone to start in September and work for 2 terms. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
