Primary Teacher

Are you a teacher with a passion for teaching and an ability to work with young people with special needs to ensure that they achieve excellence? Are you an inspirational teacher with the capacity to empower students to be the best that they can be? We are seeking to appoint ambitious and motivational teachers who are keen to make a difference to the prospects of the young people in SEN schools. 

You could be working with students between the ages of 2-19 with ASC (Autism), MLD (mild learning difficulties), SLD (severe learning difficulties) and PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties) and associated needs.

Every pupil will have an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) in place which means that no two pupils are taught in the same way. 

Classes have no more than 8 pupils in with at least one teacher and two TA’s per class. As a SEN Teacher, you would be expected to have:

• Experience teaching students with special needs within an educational setting
• The ability to differentiate work for the varying needs of students within your class
• QTS (qualified teacher status)
• A resilient and flexible approach to work
• An in depth understanding of the KS1 curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
