Primary Teacher.

Do you have experience working within a Catholic school environment?

Do you have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills? 

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a fantastic Catholic Primary school located in the Lowestoft area. We are looking for an experienced teacher who has strong classroom and behavioural management skills and thrives in a primary environment. You would be taking over a mixed KS1 class and must be able to plan, prepare and assess lessons which are fun, engaging and inclusive of all pupils. Prior experience working in a Catholic primary school is not required but is desireable, you would have to run your lessons in accordance to the Primary Catholic curriculum and must be happy to join the pupils during daily prayers.

This role would be ideally suited to a FQT teacher with experience in KS1, or a NQT looking to expand their skillset and knowledge in the KS1 area. The role would involve full planning and delivery of lessons, assuring the behaviour of the students is kept to the standard of the school, attending extra curricular school activities such as parents evening, setting up the classroom on a daily basis, provide exciting yet challenging homework for the pupils. You would need a strong knowledge of the UK curriculum, particularly within the core subject areas.

The Ideal candidate:

  • A FQT with experience in  KS2
  • Safeguarding training
  • Great behaviour and classroom management skills 
  • Experience planning and implementing lessons
  • Ability to tailor lessons to pupils of varying ability 
  • Experience with SEN pupils
  • Enhanced childs workforce DBS on the update service 
  • Uk address and right to work
  • A good attitude to all aspects of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
