Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a year 5 primary teacher to join a thriving school based in Norwich. You would be taking charge of one of the year 5 classes in this fantastic double form entry primary school. This is initially a maternity cover position ending in October. You would be running the class in accordance to the schools set policies and in line with the UK curriculum. There will be some elements of planning involved using a mixture of pre-existing school materials and new resources.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching children in Key Stage 2
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the standards required of children at the end of Key Stage 2
- Provide evidence of very good classroom practice
- Have children’s learning and development at the heart of their philosophy
- Show commitment to and an understanding of raising attainment in all children
- Understand the importance of and be committed to Assessment for Learning and high quality feedback to ensure that children make rapid progress
- Have excellent and innovative ICT skills and know how to use technology to enhance children’s learning
- Be empathetic with the ethos of a Church of England school
- Be enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking with a sense of fun
- Be available to work from May

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
