A mainstream primary school in Wisbech are looking to take on a Fully Qualified Teacher who will bring their experience and knowledge into a year 3 class, 3 days per week, from after Feb Half term.

The school is based in the more Cenrtal part of Wisbech and is a fantastic environment in which to develop and further your teaching career in a rewarding, supportive and professional atmosphere. The position is part-time. 3 days per week (these can be flexible) and is set to last 2 terms, with the opportunity of a permanent contract being offered depending on how the class progress.

Ideal applicants will:

  • Have their own means of transport
  • Have a professional level of classroom management skills
  • Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
  • Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
  • Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating

You will be supported by a qualified Teaching Assistant who will provide overall class support, as well as work within small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils.

Successful applicants will be required to interview and potentially teach a planned lesson of your choice that is relevant to the class and their learning abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
