Primary Teacher

If so, Teaching Personnel are working alongside a GOOD graded primary School in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire that is currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to teach a class from January.

The role will be on a 6-month temporary basis from January initially, but please bear in mind the school may be willing to take the right candidate on permanently should the class develop successfully and achieve well.

The school are looking for the following:

• QTS required (Qualified Teacher Status)
• KS2 SATS experience
• DBS registered with the Update Service (desirable)
• Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 in the last 12 months would be preferable
• Passionate about learning and has high expectations for raising pupil attainment
• Approachable and a good communicator
• Has an understanding of different pupil needs and how to meet them

About the role

The successful Year 2 Teacher will be supporting Year 2 pupils as well as helping them get ready for the transition up to Key Stage 2

Year 2 is an important year for primary school pupils and the successful teacher will be positive, supportive and ensure they are committed to the class and their success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
