Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Role at a Supportive Primary School in Stretford (January Start)

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stretford that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. This full-time role begins after Christmas, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom where all pupils feel supported
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and the senior leadership team
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain excellent practice

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally within Year 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Solid understanding of the National Curriculum
• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• Confident using technology to support learning
