Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Altrincham (February Start)

Location: Altrincham
Start Date: February
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Altrincham. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their dedicated team from February.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons tailored to Year 2 learners
• Track and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback to support individual growth
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that inspires curiosity and confidence
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and raise attainment across Key Stage 1
• Engage in CPD opportunities and contribute to the wider school community

Ideal Candidate

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and current teaching practices
• Confident in using technology to enhance learning
• Effective classroom management and organisational skills

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 2 or KS1 (ECTs with relevant placements are encouraged to apply)
• A genuine commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality education
