Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time | Altrincham

Location: Altrincham
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Altrincham, currently seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team this September.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons tailored to Key Stage 1 learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with the KS1 team to share best practice and drive pupil achievement
  • Take part in CPD and wider school activities, contributing to school life

About You

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in differentiation, able to meet diverse learning needs
  • Knowledgeable in the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methods
  • Confident in using technology to enhance learning
  • Organised, proactive, and confident in classroom management

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or within KS1 (ECTs with relevant placements are encouraged to apply)
  • A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive education
