Year 2 Teacher – Old Trafford (M16)

Contract: Full-Time | Start: February 2026

Are you an enthusiastic educator ready to inspire young minds? We’re looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Old Trafford. The Role

  • Full-time maternity cover from January to October 2026
  • Teach a lively and motivated Year 2 class
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues and a strong leadership team
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that challenge and inspire
  • Contribute to the wider school community

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS1
  • Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Confident in using technology to enhance learning
  • Great communication and teamwork abilities
