About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated KS1 Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will play a vital role in developing pupils’ foundational skills, confidence, and love of learning within a supportive and nurturing school environment.

Key Details

• Start Date: 20th April

• Location: Axminster, Devon

• Contract: Full-time or part-time (flexible to suit the right candidate)

• Pay: M1–M6 DOE (paid weekly)

What You’ll Do

• Deliver creative and engaging KS1 lessons

• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs

• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers

• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare

• Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)

• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early assessment

• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

• A positive, patient, and enthusiastic teaching approach
