Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Position (Starting November) | Levenshulme

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in Levenshulme, currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role, running from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a November start date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Year 2 pupils
  • Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and tailored support
  • Promote an inclusive classroom culture where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Year 2 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the National Curriculum and current pedagogical approaches
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Confidence in integrating technology to support learning
