Primary Supply Teacher – KS1 & KS2 | New Year Opportunities - Across Southampton

Start the new year with flexibility, variety and rewarding classroom experience. Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools who are seeking confident and adaptable Primary Teachers for supply work throughout the new year.

Whether your strengths lie in Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, or you are happy covering both, we have a range of opportunities to suit your experience and availability. Schools require support for PPA cover, planned absences and short-term sickness, offering anything from day-to-day supply to longer placements.

This role is ideal for:

Teachers who enjoy variety and working in different school environments
ECTs looking to build confidence and experience across key stages
Experienced teachers seeking a better work–life balance
Educators returning to teaching or exploring flexible options

We are looking for teachers who:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Can deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons with confidence
Adapt quickly and maintain positive learning environments
Have strong classroom management and a child-focused approach
