Primary Teacher – Pontefract/Castleford & Surrounding Areas

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Primary Teachers to work across a network of welcoming schools in Pontefract and nearby areas. Opportunities are available for both experienced teachers and ECTs, with flexible roles to suit your availability and career goals.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development
  • Manage behaviour effectively and follow school policies
  • Work collaboratively with staff and leadership

Requirements

  • QTS (or equivalent)
  • UK Primary teaching experience (including placements)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
