Teaching Personnel is working with a supportive primary school in Pontefract (WF7) to recruit a confident Year 5 Teacher for a long-term role.

This welcoming school has a strong KS2 team, engaged pupils, and a supportive SLT. You’ll play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6 and upper KS2 expectations.

The Role

• Deliver engaging KS2 lessons
• Support progress in reading, writing, and maths
• Prepare pupils for upper KS2 learning
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom
• Work closely with KS2 staff and parents

Requirements

• QTS
• Teaching experience (KS2 preferred)
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Strong behaviour management
• DBS on Update Service (or willing to apply)
