Teaching Personnel is working closely with one of our valued partner Primary Schools in the Dewsbury area, and we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a long‑term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive, well‑established school community. The school is known for its warm, inclusive ethos and strong leadership, and is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, consistency and high‑quality teaching to their Year 5 class.

The Role
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum
- Support pupils’ progress and prepare them for upper‑KS2
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the KS2 team and support staff
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress
- Uphold behaviour expectations and maintain consistency
- Follow school safeguarding procedures and policies
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable)
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- A positive, adaptable and professional approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- The legal right to work in the UK
