Year 2 Class Teacher

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Blackburn from September 2026.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and end-of-key-stage assessment requirements.
• High expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and wellbeing.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to providing engaging and inclusive learning opportunities for all children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
