Primary Teacher – Dorchester, Dorset
Location: Dorchester | Start Date: September 2025 | Salary: £120 - £140 per day | Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Flexible Supply

Teaching Personnel is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Primary Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Dorchester. This opportunity is ideal for educators with a passion for high-quality teaching and a strong belief in the value of inclusive, child-centred learning.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Primary Teacher to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. This role would suit an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive environment in which to develop.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to wider school life

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching in UK primary education
  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
  • A reflective, professional approach and a dedication to continuous improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
