Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a teacher to work full time completinng PPA cover across a school in Chorley (PR6). The role is Monday – Friday 08:15 – 15:30 and is currently expected to last until the end of the academic year, with the potential to go onto permanent contract.

As a PPA Teacher, there are specific requirements that the school have requested. These are:

Start date: 9th September 2024 

End date: July 2025 (with a view of continuing into the new academic year) 

Part-time (Flexible days) 

Primary School located in Chorley (PR6) 

Pay rate: £140 - £180 

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Phonic scheme experience – preferably Read Write Inc.
  • Understanding of White Rose Maths.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Understanding of the Key Stage One/Two curriculum

Although previous experience of Teaching is advantageous, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated and will put 100% into their work everyday. If you are someone who is looking to gain a new experience, build on knowledge and play a huge part in education, this is the role for you!

You will be working closely with the class Teaching Assistant and other professionals to set and achieve targets with the children. You will be expected to plan your lessons carefully, and be able to tailor these to suit every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
