Primary School Teacher

Location: Caerphilly

Job Role: PPA Teacher

Pay: £708.55 per week

Teaching Personnel are currently working with partnership schools based in the Caerphilly borough that are seeking teachers to cover PPA sessions. The role will consist of delivery pre-planned lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 2. This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with various teachers across the school and to build relationships with all pupils.

The school is based within the Blackwood area and is a high-achieving school. The head-teacher is looking for someone who is passionate, dedicated, creative and enthusiastic to join their high-achieving team. The school is a vibrant learning community with over 600 pupils who demonstrate positive attitudes to learning and engage fully throughout all areas of the curriculum. The school pride themselves on being an inclusive learning community with an outstanding ethos and sense of unity that supports the learning and wellbeing of pupils.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise and communicate effectively with staff members to ensure that lessons are delivered and planned appropriately
  • Plan, prepare, assess and teach the children appropriately to their needs
  • Maintain the positive ethos in and outside of the classroom
  • Ensure all worked that is delivered is marked and assess correctly
  • Feedback effectively to the class teacher and in a timely manner
  • Participate in staff meetings and on-going professional development
  • To maintain the highest standards of behaviour within a class and around the school
  • Build relationships with all pupils throughout the classes

Essential Requirements

  • PGCE Certificate or QTS Status
  • 2x School based references
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council
  • Completion of our FREE Level 2 Safeguarding Course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
