Job Description: Primary Teacher

Location: South East England, West Sussex, Burgess Hill

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £110 - £140 Per day

Qualifications: QTS

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school students
  • Implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Proven experience within primary teaching
  • Demonstrated ability in behaviour control and classroom management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in special education or child development

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily within a school setting
  • Regular school hours with occasional additional duties or events
  • Collaborative work environment with students, parents, and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
