Job description

Step Away from Full-Time Teaching — Without Leaving Education Behind!

Are you ready to move on from the demands of full-time teaching — the endless planning, marking, and meetings — but not quite ready to give up the classroom entirely?

Whether you’re considering retirement, looking for a better work–life balance, or just keen to explore new schools and experiences, supply teaching could be exactly what you’re looking for!

At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are open-minded, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference — without the strings attached to a full-time post.

Why Choose Supply Teaching with Us?

  • Freedom & Flexibility: Work when and where it suits you — daily, weekly, or longer-term placements. You are in-charge of your own daily through our App.
  • Variety: Experience different schools across Salisbury and surrounding areas.
  • Less Responsibility: Focus on what you love — teaching — without the admin overload.
  • Competitive Pay: Rates reflective of your experience and role type.
  • Dedicated Consultant: Personal support from a local specialist who understands your needs.
  • FREE Safeguarding Training included to keep you fully compliant and confident.

What You’ll Need:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work documentation (passport and driving licence)
  • Proof of address and reference checks
  • A passion for education and flexibility to support different schools

If this sounds like your next step, we’d love to hear from you!
Apply today and join our ever-growing pool of reliable, enthusiastic educators making a difference — on their own terms.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
