Supply Teacher – Reading Area
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Contract Type: Supply / Temporary / Short and Long-Term Assignments
Salary: Competitive hourly rates – dependent on experience and qualifications
Start Date: Immediate starts available

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply teaching opportunities in the Reading area? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to support primary schools across Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and key stages

  • Maintain classroom management and promote a positive learning environment

  • Follow school policies and procedures

  • Adapt quickly to new settings and support pupils’ learning needs

  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of education

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in primary or secondary schools

  • The ability to adapt lessons and work independently

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A professional and flexible approach

  • An enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
