The Role:

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a variety of schools throughout Reading. Whether you’re looking to work a few days a week or secure something more consistent, we’ll find opportunities that suit your availability, skills, and experience.

As a supply teacher, you’ll:

  • Deliver engaging lessons and maintain classroom routines

  • Support pupils’ learning and development

  • Build positive relationships with staff and students

  • Adapt quickly to new environments and expectations

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience in a UK primary school (placements included)

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
