Contract: Flexible, Ad Hoc Basis

As a Primary Supply Teacher with us, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of schools in the East Lancashire area, providing cover for absent teachers and supporting continuous learning and development for students. Whether you're seeking short-term assignments or longer-term placements, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across the primary curriculum
  • Adapting quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Following lesson plans and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Providing constructive feedback and assessment to support pupil progress
  • Upholding the values and ethos of each school you support

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching in primary schools is essential
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings and year groups
  • Strong behavior management skills and ability to engage students effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
