Primary SEN support TA, Weston-Super-Mare

Teaching Personnel are working with Primary schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area who require SEN support teaching assistants to join them for the Summer term. Whether you are free full-time or part-time, we have a position to suit you!

We are seeking teaching assistants with previous experience supporting children with special educational needs, ranging from mild to severe learning or physical difficulties. We are looking for candidates who are strong in managing behaviour and who can form relationships with children who are struggling to progress in their mainstream setting. Although not all positions will require the TA to support challenging behaviour, we do require teaching assistants who are comfortable working with children who can sometimes be violent or who often attempt to run from the classroom.

We work with some fantastic primary schools who are exceptionally welcoming towards new staff.

We are working on a number of positions, including both full days and half days and would love to hear from you if you are looking for something new this Summer or even for September opportunities.
