Primary School Teacher – Flexible Cover
Location: Yeovil, Somerset and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Ad-hoc cover (with potential for a long-term roles)

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic educators to join our team, providing day-to-day and short-term cover across welcoming primary schools in Yeovil. For the right teacher, this could be the perfect pathway into a long-term role.

Your Role:

  • Deliver inspiring, engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN or EAL needs.
  • Bring creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm to every lesson.
  • Collaborate with staff, pupils, and parents to create a thriving learning experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Recent primary classroom experience.
  • A confident, adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
  • Flexibility – whether you’re available one day a week or five.
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
